FAQs
Where do i start with therapy?
It all starts with a phone. If we seem like we may be a good fit, call for a free 15 minute consultation. If we are indeed a good fit, we will schedule our first appointment where we will go over your presenting issues, relevant background information, and mental health diagnosis. If we are not a good fit, I will be glad to provide you with referrals who may be.
Then what?
We will mutually agree on how often we will meet, develop a treatment plan, and discuss potential treatment plan. Typically, client’s see me more frequently at the beginning and we reduced frequency of sessions and you get closer to your goals. As we get closer to meeting your goals we will discuss new goals develop a plan for maintaining progress. Finally, after discharge you are welcome to return for tune up sessions at any time.

I do! I am currently in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Health Care, Medicare, and Wellmark.

What is telehealth?
Telehealth sessions are conducted using a secure, HIPAA-compliant video and audio platform that can be accessed from most electronic devices, such as a phone, tablet, or computer. I see clients exclusively through telehealth, which means all sessions take place remotely.
While some people understandably prefer in-person services, many find that telehealth offers several advantages—including greater flexibility, reduced travel time, and increased convenience. Whether you're at home, in the office, or elsewhere, telehealth can make it easier to access consistent, quality care that fits into your schedule.
